Trading Accounts

Trading accounts at Dukascopy Brokers are categorized into three categories, based on the platforms preferred by clients. These accounts include:

Dukascopy provides traders with mostly original MetaTrader and cTrader trading platform experience. In addition to the European license in Cyprus, Dukascopy also lacks supervision in major jurisdictions, which puts it at a serious disadvantage compared to other trusted foreign exchange brokers.

Dukascopy Review :
Micro MT4 Account

This account is recommended for beginners and does not charge any commission. The account offers both floating and fixed spreads and will require a minimum deposit of $ 1000.

This repository is friendly for beginners; In fact, it’s below the market average by around $ 1000. The account has a maximum leverage of 1: 100, which is too high. Floating starts at 0.4 pips while fixed starts at 2 pips.

Dukascopy Review :
MT5 Pro Account

Another type of account found at Dukascopy Brokers is the MT5 Pro account, which is designed to meet the needs of experienced traders. Unlike the MT4 account which has both fixed and floating spreads, this account only has floating spreads.

It is also commission-free and offers a maximum leverage of 1: 200. The minimum deposit is slightly higher than the MT4 account and is set at $ 500. The waterline starts at 0.2 pips.

Dukascopy Review :
CTrader ECN Account

This account is ideal for traders who want to trade raw spreads as well as floating spreads. This minimum deposit is set at $ 1000 and has a maximum leverage of 1: 100. The cTrader ECN account is very similar to the TM4 account but it does not offer a fixed spread. Floating starts at 0 pips.

Dukascopy Regulation Security of Funds

Dukascopy is regulated by the Federal Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) as a bank and securities dealer. So this broker is rock solid in terms of security and safety.

Obtaining such a license is not an easy task, as applicants must comply with a set of stringent requirements, including a minimum capital of CHF 20 million. In addition, Swiss currency brokers are required to sign the Swiss Banks and Securities Dealers contract, which protects all client deposits up to CHF 100,000.

The broker’s subsidiaries are also duly regulated: Dukascopy Europe AS is an EU licensed investment brokerage firm based in Latvia, and is regulated by the Local Commission for Financial Markets and Capital (FCMC); Dukascopy Japan holds a Type 1 license issued by the Financial Services Agency of Japan (JFSA).

In addition, Dukascopy The Bank exercises consolidated supervision of its subsidiaries from Switzerland, ensures adequate liquidity, risk diversification and capital adequacy at group level.

Dukascopy Review :
Minimum deposit

The initial $ 1,000 deposit requirement is probably a bit confusing for newbies looking to start with a small amount of money, but the education and research section of the broker is exceptional and can possibly make a pro investor a monkey. Calendars, charts, news and market research, signals, calculators and many other tools are available to investors.

Dukascopy Review :

Dukascopy offers its clients a maximum leverage of 1: 100 which is considered a low ratio for the market. If you need higher leverage levels, many forex brokers offer leverage equal to or greater than 1: 500. Keep in mind, however, that the higher the leverage, the greater the risk associated with margin trading. That’s why Swissquote also offers leverage up to 1: 100 and even advises inexperienced investors to use less leverage.

Dukascopy Review :
Spreads & Commissions

The spreads offered by Dukascopy are variable and quite tight, averaging 0.2 pips for the EUR / USD pair, but investors also have to pay a commission of $ 7 per lot. However, the cost of trading with this broker is around 0.9 pips per lot for this pair which is really low and competitive. Most brokers offer spreads in the range of 1.0 to 1.5 pips on EUR / USD.

In comparison, Swissquote, the only other regulated Swiss broker, offers variable spreads from 1.8 pips on EUR / USD (and does not charge any commission).

Dukascopy Review :
Trading platforms

Dukascopy supports the very popular MetaTrader4 (MT4), and also offers its own Forex trading platform JForex.

MT4 hardly needs a presentation. It is the most popular trading software, highly regarded by investors of all skill levels. The platform has excellent charting and is particularly popular for its automated trading robots, called ExpertAdvisors.

The JForex platform is designed for investors interested in automated trading and / or the development and testing of trading strategies based on the JAVA programming language. It is available in desktop, web and mobile versions. Here are some of the tools and features offered by the platform:

Dukascopy Review :

Currently, Dukascopy Broker provides a 100% bonus for every deposit. This is a good bonus that will welcome traders and give them extra money to keep trading. With this bonus, you can afford higher margin trading without worrying about the risk. And you can choose from different types of payment methods including Netteller, Skrill, wire transfer, and credit card.

Dukascopy Review :

Dukascopy does not charge deposit, withdrawal, inactive accounts. fees

Dukascopy review :

Dukascopy’s research products have a good foundation because it provides some of all necessary content types, including content types from third parties. However, compared with research leaders IG, Saxo Bank and CMC Markets, Dukascopy has room to enhance its research products.

Dukascopy provides a series of research content in the “Trader Tools” section, including economic calendars, market insights and daily analysis posts, as well as AutoChartist’s trading signals. Dukascopy also generates video content in Minute posts on YouTube, such as the regular Market, as well as some archived webinars and some educational content.
